Work Experience
Present - South Lewis County
Chamber of Commerce Director of Economic Development
I currently work to promote South Lewis County’s
economic development. I work with the county commissioners, the
planning department and other local and state agencies to ensure that South Lewis County
has representation and that the desires of the people are being heard.
Public and Government
Relations/Legislative Assistant - Legislative Session 2008 - I worked
with a Lobbyist during the legislative session. I was responsible for
all administrative needs and worked with 13 different clients to insure their
voice was heard and best interests were taken care of during the 2007/2008
legislative session. On a daily basis I consulted with Legislators in
the House and Senate to express the concerns and requests of these
clients. I helped to push bills that the client supported or kill
bills that they were against or simply suggested amendments to make a bill
better before it became law.
House Republican
Organizational Committee - Fundraising Assistant - 2007 interim
- I worked for HROC assisting members to plan and implement
in-district fundraising events updating donor databases and aid in post
session fundraising letters. My main objective was to plan events and
help raise funds for the members and HROC.
House Republican Caucus
- Communications Department - Legislative Session 2007 - I posted news
releases helped with web-design and updated member information. My
main role was to insure that the web-site was constantly updated with
current legislative information and news. I also posted the "Capitol
Buzz" everyday which is a conglomeration of pertinent news articles
from around the state to help keep subscribers informed on issues.
Fashion Industry/Self
Employed -1999 to 2007 - I am responsible for billing, marketing,
scheduling and performing all office and managerial needs. I make
personal and televised appearances to showcase merchandise and introduce
clients to new and upcoming fashions.
Preservation Management
- Evaline School
District - 2005 to Present - I am currently working with
the Evaline School District to establish the
district as a National/State Historic site, which would enable the school
to be added to the National Register of Historic Places. I procured a
grant for a Study and Survey program that will be instrumental in
establishing a Growth Management Plan that will insure that the historic
significance of the school stays intact while allowing for the inevitable
growth of the district. I will monitor and assist in the
implementation of the Growth Management Plan. I am currently the
Project Manager for Evaline and work closely with the Superintendent,
School Board, and Architect in the development of a comprehensive plan that
would benefit the entire school district and meet their needs based on the
outcome of the Study and Survey. I am also responsible for assembling
a Historic Foundation and Trust for the Historic Evaline
School.
Chairman Evaline School
Board - Evaline
School District -
2001 to 2002 - I was elected to represent the Evaline district at the
Washington State School Director’s Legislative Assembly. I was instrumental
in passing a Maintenance and Operations Levy by over 80% during a very
uncertain time in the school's history. I ran campaigns; I went door
to door to ensure constituents were well informed about the issues and was
responsible for phone banks. Major issues in which I was instrumental
in investigating and educating myself and others while on the Board were;
non-high, transportation, special education, grants, consolidation, Evaline
boundary identification, investigating land purchase for possible school
expansion, researching, revising and implementing policies to ensure we
were up to current standards. I was directly involved with the
Superintendent on budget and finance issues and assisted in the development
and proposal of the annual budget.

Global Travel Agency - 1996 - I assisted clients on making well informed
travel decisions and scheduled their itinerary to suit their individual
